This book is constructed in two parts, one part starting on the first page and the other part starting on the last page. Mirroring each other, they meet in the middle of the book.
The first part shows a selection of 40 photographs of my childhood, all taken around and inside the house in which I grew up. The second part consists of photographs that show the exact same location and situation in the present (2008).
